Fourth of July is definitely one of my favorite holidays, especially growing up in both New England and in the South. Although it might look a little different this year, it’s not stopping me from celebrating in style with lots of pops of red, white and blue in my table decor, food, and outfits. This year we are celebrating the Fourth of July at the beach so I wanted to create an at-home look to enjoy the weekend before. I went with an easy yet elegant coastal table with a casual menu. I’m sharing the look and sources for the table, a charcuterie board and some festive outfit ideas for Fourth of July that are also great basics for summer.
Fourth of July Tablescape
My inspiration for my Fourth of July table were these beautiful Vietri Drop hand blown wine glasses and tumblers that I picked up at an adorable gift shop in Manteo, NC a few weeks ago. The wine glasses come in red, white and blue and are the perfect contemporary design to mix with my more traditional coastal entertaining ware. I shopped my kitchen for everything else. Years ago I purchased these cute red, white and blue melamine plates. They are perfect for entertaining outdoors during the Summer, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. I also use the blue ones for Mediterranean themed dinners. I have a thing for mixing patterns and not everything always having to match.
You can’t go wrong with rattan chargers either. I love the natural look, plus they are sturdy! I pulled some white linen napkins and added these fun little rattan coastal themed napkin rings. For my centerpiece, I kept it simple. I picked up some white hydrangeas from Fresh Market, put them in a white pitcher and added two American flags.

Fourth of July Charcuterie Board
Every holiday deserves a charcuterie board! Since I don’t cook, this is my contribution to the menu. I love how casual charcuterie boards are and how they bring people together. Since it’s the Fourth of July, I wanted to add more fruit and pops of color than I typically would for a cheese board.
I always start with placing my ramekins down first. To mix things up, I’m using an oyster shell to hold my berries. Then, I lay in three different types of cheeses, followed by the meat. Next, I add in fruit near the edges of the tray. Lastly, I fill in the gaps with crackers, nuts and add my dip. Below is a list of what I selected for my Fourth of July charcuterie board.
Meat & Cheese
- Yancey’s Fancy Champagne Aged Cheddar Cheese
- Drunken Goat Cheese
- Manchego Cheese
- Salami Milano
Fruit
- Grapes
- Watermelon
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
Crackers & Nuts
- La Panzanella Mini Croccantini Cracked Pepper Artisan Crackers
- Crunchmaster Multi-Seed
- Crunchmaster Grain-Free, Romano Asiago & Cheddar Crackers
- Marcona Almonds
Dip
- Lantana White Bean Hummus with Trader Joes Everything But Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend

Fourth of July Outfit Inspiration
Growing up in New England sparked my obsession of red, white, blue and stripes in the summertime. Below I’m sharing some of my favorite patriotic looks with source links. I’m absolutely loving this white tired ruffle dress and Panama hat. This will definitely be on repeat and so will many of these other summer looks!
