Thanksgiving is the time to be thankful, a time to remember the past year and embrace those who enrich our lives. Although 2020 threw us all for a loop, I have to say that it might have been one of my favorite years despite all the challenges, stress, feelings of isolation and chaos that it has brought us. Talk about a jolt to our system with everything going on and our normal routines being derailed.
Juggling working from home with a toddler. Zoom calls after zoom calls. Running through the sprinkler. Splashing in an inflatable pool. Birthday celebrations in the backyard. Sunset popsicle dates. Dining alfresco. Lazy naps in the hammock. Jumping off the back of the boat. 2020 looked a lot different, but the sheer joy of creating simple moments in our home, backyard, at the beach and on the boat were priceless. Children are so innocent during times like these. Blakely reminds me every day to slow down and even more now than ever before.
2020 has been the year of simpler things and gratitude for our family.
These are just a few of my favorite moments from this crazy yet beautiful year. Today and every day, I am thankful for the good health and support of my family and friends. I hope you all have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
Cheers! xoxo
